I have been tutoring for 7 years. I was graduated from University of Malaya in Bachelor Science with education, majoring in Biology and Minoring in Chemistry.

Experienced Home Tutor with over 10 years of experience of guiding students be a better version of them. I assist students of all levels, even ones having troubles catching up in class, to improve their understanding. I primarily focus on explaining topics students have trouble understanding to build confidence. This allows students to be more attentive in class and be able to focus better.

I tutor Primary, SPM and IGCSE students in Mathematics and Computer Science on a freelance basis and I've been doing it since December 2025. My approach with Maths is pretty simple: explain a concept, let the student try a question, see exactly where it breaks down, then re-explain using whatever angle didn't land the first time. I don't move on until it's actually solid, not just repeated back to me. Sessions run about two hours, split between a warm-up, a recap of the last lesson, the new material and then practice. On the Computer Science side, I teach programming through actual projects rather than slides, using Scratch, Python and HTML/CSS/JavaScript depending on the student's level. I also volunteer as a Scratch trainer with the ICT Programme at SJKT Sungai Besi, teaching block-based programming to Primary school kids, so I've worked with a wide age range, from young children just starting out to older students prepping for exams. I got an A* in IGCSE Mathematics myself, so I know the syllabus from the inside, not just from teaching it. What I think makes me a decent Tutor is patience with repetition and a willingness to try a different explanation instead of just saying the same thing louder. I'm a Software Engineering student at APU, which also means I can push CS students past the syllabus into real algorithms and problem-solving when they're ready for it.

About Me: I am a passionate and dedicated Government school teacher specializing in Bahasa Melayu for both Primary and Secondary levels. With a strong commitment to nurturing Language skills, I believe in creating a classroom environment that fosters curiosity, critical thinking and a love for the National language. Teaching Philosophy: I strive to make Bahasa Melayu meaningful and engaging by connecting lessons to real-life experiences. My goal is to help students appreciate the beauty and richness of the language while building their confidence in Communication, Reading and Writing. I was a tutor to both of my cousin after MCO (One was 10yo and another one was 13yo. I taught them both Chinese subject, where two of them are now studying in Chinese Independent High School. They are both now able to speak in Chinese to their friends and able to write chinese essays.

Throughout my teaching journey, I have gained valuable practical experience both in secondary and primary education settings. During my practicum at a secondary school, I had the opportunity to plan and deliver engaging English lessons, manage classroom dynamics, and adapt my teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of adolescent learners. This experience deepened my understanding of curriculum planning, assessment, and student engagement. In addition, I have also provided private tutoring to a primary school student, where I focused on building foundational English skills and boosting the child’s confidence in using the language in daily life. These experiences have helped me grow as a flexible and empathetic educator, capable of supporting students across different age groups and proficiency levels. I have acquired practical teaching experience through my practicum at a secondary school, where I was responsible for planning and delivering English lessons, managing classroom instruction, and addressing the varied proficiency levels of students. This experience enabled me to develop effective classroom management skills and tailor my teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. Additionally, I have provided one-on-one private tutoring to a primary school student, focusing on strengthening foundational English skills and promoting language confidence. These diverse teaching experiences have equipped me with the ability to adapt my approach to suit different educational contexts and learner needs.

I’m qualified in both IGCSE Maths and Add Maths and I do have experience of teaching in centre for 3 years. I’ve gotten A* in Maths and A in Add maths for IGCSE. I’m also eligible to teach for SPM math add maths, and foundation for mathematics. I’ve gotten CGPA 4.0 in FIB

I’m a JPA Scholar and my SPM results are 9A+1A (Science stream). I have completed over 1500 hours of online tutoring (>5 years of experience), ranging from SPM, IGCSE, O-Level and A-Level across Malaysia, China, London, Germany, India, Ghana. My classes are highly problem-solving based, so the students can apply their knowledge too.
