It is critical that a solid relationship be developed between the tutor and the student in order for the tutoring sessions to be effective. I intend to employ these techniques in my classroom instruction.
ADAPTABILITY
Because there is no predetermined formula, the tutor's approach must be tailored to the student's specific needs and challenges. As the sessions proceed, the tutor will have to re-evaluate the student's objectives. As a result, it is critical not to be scared of developing a new action plan that is better suited to each new circumstance.
ENERGY
I will be an energetic person, someone who is enthusiastic about human contacts, in order to develop a healthy connection. This passion will almost surely have a favourable influence on a youngster who is dissatisfied with school and his or her poor marks. The tutor will be a role model for success because of his or her positive attitude and enthusiasm, motivating the youngster to participate more and perform better in school.
OPENNESS
Listening to the child's needs and displaying transparency will assist in better understanding a student's condition. Inquiring into the setting (academic status, school environment, at home, etc.) allows for more suitable follow-up and better utilization of work approaches. I will immerse myself and my presence will give assistance to a troubled kid and make the youngster feel appreciated. The tutor's accessibility and participation must be demonstrated. A competent teacher must be curious about and interested in the student being tutored.
HUMILITY
Even if we believe we have most of the subject matter on the tips of our fingers, it is possible that certain concepts may elude us. It's natural; we can't know everything, and we must be aware of this. It is actually best to inform the pupil that we don't know the answer rather than attempting to guess it. In other cases, if the personalities don't mesh or the sessions aren't having the desired effect, it's vital to stand back and recognise that we might not be the best person to help this kid.
