Hi! I’m Rin. I’ve completed my A Levels and plan to pursue Chemical Engineering. I achieved 3A* and 1A in my A Levels, as well as 8A+ and 1A in SPM. Throughout my own academic journey, I developed structured learning systems, revision methods, and approaches that helped me understand concepts deeply and achieve strong results through self-directed learning. I have experience helping and teaching my siblings, who are currently preparing for SPM, as well as supporting peers from school in subjects related to my areas of strength, including Foundation and IB-level content. These experiences have helped me develop patience, clear communication, and the ability to break down difficult concepts into simpler steps. I genuinely enjoy learning and sharing knowledge with others. Teaching gives me a lot of satisfaction, especially when I see students gain confidence and become able to solve questions independently. I focus on building strong foundations, adapting my explanations to each student’s learning style, and helping students understand concepts rather than simply memorising methods.

(Updated as of 2026) This marks my 12th year being a tutor. I started off as a part-time tutor during my tertiary education days and continued tutoring part-time during first few years of me working in corporate companies. Now, I am a full-time tutor teaching students of varying levels and syllabus. The list of subjects that I teach are listed on my profile under the ‘Subjects’ heading.

I have 3 years of tutoring experience, specialising in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry for IGCSE and SPM. I obtained 4A* in my A-levels (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Maths) and achieved all A+ in these subjects for SPM. Compared to other tutors, my teaching style is highly personalised, focusing on each student's individual strengths and weaknesses and curating my lessons according to their understanding and needs. Being relatively young and having recently experienced the rigours of exams myself, I strive to not only teach but also inspire my students to excel academically. My goal is to help them achieve their full potential by creating an engaging and supportive learning environment tailored to their unique needs.
