Hi! I’m Rin. I’ve completed my A Levels and plan to pursue Chemical Engineering. I achieved 3A* and 1A in my A Levels, as well as 8A+ and 1A in SPM. Throughout my own academic journey, I developed structured learning systems, revision methods, and approaches that helped me understand concepts deeply and achieve strong results through self-directed learning. I have experience helping and teaching my siblings, who are currently preparing for SPM, as well as supporting peers from school in subjects related to my areas of strength, including Foundation and IB-level content. These experiences have helped me develop patience, clear communication, and the ability to break down difficult concepts into simpler steps. I genuinely enjoy learning and sharing knowledge with others. Teaching gives me a lot of satisfaction, especially when I see students gain confidence and become able to solve questions independently. I focus on building strong foundations, adapting my explanations to each student’s learning style, and helping students understand concepts rather than simply memorising methods.

Hey there! I tutor A-Level Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology, and SPM Physics. I focus on students with a weak foundation who are looking to rebuild it properly rather than cramming everything into their head before an exam day. My own results: A* for Chemistry , B for Mathematics in A-Levels and A for Biology, and A for Physics in SPM. I'm currently doing a degree in Actuarial Science — three years of applied mathematics and statistics — which keeps me working with the same material I teach. I've been teaching in some form since secondary school. I spent several years at a tuition centre helping conduct lessons for primary students, and throughout college I was the person my classmates came to when Chemistry or Maths stopped making sense. Explaining a topic to someone who's genuinely lost is a different skill from scoring well yourself, and it's the one I've had the most practice at. I also teach from my own A-Level notes — condensed, syllabus-mapped, built from past papers during my own revision. Every student I take on gets a copy. Who I work best with: students who are behind but willing. If you can't balance an equation, or you're stuck on calculus because indices never clicked two years ago, that's exactly what I'm good at. I find where the understanding actually broke and will help to rebuild from there. Quieter students get patience and small checkpoints. Confident ones get harder questions until we find the real edge of what they know. Either way, we don't move on until you can do it without me in the room.
