Allow me to introduce myself. I am Yassin, and I have been an English teacher for the past 12 years. My experiences include teaching at language centres, international schools, and a university. I have experience conducting private tutoring as well. I have taught IGCSE English as a Second Language, and I am proud to share that a student of mine has emerged as Top in Malaysia for Cambridge IGCSE English as a Second Language June 2023 Examinations. In addition to teaching in a formal academic setting, I have experience conducting business English classes. In the most humble way possible, I would like to say that if you are seeking a tutor who believes that learning should be a mix of academia and fun, I believe I could be of an assistance.

For General English, I would cover all the four language components (Grammar, Reading, Listening, and Speaking). I would involve the learner in the discussions, and not simply teach with zero engagement on his or her part. For IGCSE English as a Second Language, I would review past year papers as well as the language components (grammar for instance) in order to strengthen the learner's understanding when tackling the questions. For Business English, I would draw from the learner's experience being on the job. Using this information, I would fill in knowledge gaps and come up with a game plan as to what he or she urgently needs in order to excel in the language. These needs could range from email crafting to engaging in a conversation with clients.
