Hey! I'm Aleya, an incoming second year medical student at RCSI and your next English or Biology tutor! I love learning and teaching science and english; be it Biology or English Literature, and as I have excelled in these subjects before, my goal is to share my wisdom, and top tips to help you ace the subject with ease. Previously, I have tutored my friends and several other students who've also found difficulty in the subjects and with my aid - they've mastered it! Obtaining straight A*/As in both Cambridge A Levels and IGCSE as well as working towards a medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, I am extremely passionate and proficient in the sciences and English! My hobbies include: sports, fashion and cooking. I am an easy going but organised and firm tutor so our lessons will be calm and collected but productive and personalised :D I look forward to meeting you!

I aim to guide high school (UK syllabus)/ A Levels students to excelling the subject. My teaching methodology would include visual and verbal learning (such as diagrams, summary sheets and concise explanations) as well as utilising active recall, and past year papers to solidify my students' understanding and to fill in the gaps where they struggle still. In addition, the students' syllabus would also be a guide to my lessons to see what has been covered and what needs to be covered. Lessons would typically be an hour long but can be extended in accordance to students' preferences!
