I have been teaching since 2018 for subjects Biology, Chemistry, Physics & Science. I am experienced in previous National syllabus and latest National syllabus. I am also skilled in analysing exam questions and able to teach answering techniques to students. My expertise is in Science stream subject based on my Degree in Science with Education. I am graduated from Universiti Malaya specialised in Biology and Chemistry subject for Upper Form. Experienced in teaching one-to-one and in group.

My teaching method more to stem approached and exam-oriented due to nature of tuition which prepare students for examination. Discussing exam question to familiarize student with expected answers. I used different pace of learning depends on student ability to process and interpret new information. Some of the students, I focused more in exam questions & revised topics based on exam questions. For students, I need to teach basic knowledge first before start the topics. I used to relate the topics learned from Science Lower Form with the new topic. For stem approached, I used to initiate high order thinking by connecting all previous knowledge that related to the new topics. These are examples for each subject; Biology: Focused more in mechanism, explained more on connecting each topics that related such as chapter 10 form 4 (Circulatory System in human) with genetics topics. In Circulatory System students will learn about blood types and in genetics students also learn the why we can’t easily donate blood to different blood types. This is where I will explain some exam questions can include two different chapter into 1 question. Chemistry: Focused more on Chemical Equation and topic about periodic table, characteristics of particle & theory of collisions on student because this topics are vital for student before learning another advance topics. This method can ease students to remember which elements can react together. Usually I will use method revised topics based on exam questions for Form 5 students, as for Form 4 I will teach each topics in details and connecting each topics to advance topic in Chemistry or the application of the knowledge to other subject such as Biology & Physics. Physics: As for Physics, I focused more in dissecting each concept or law introduce in the topics with Mathematical skill to solve the question. I used to relate each concept with daily examples that relate to the students. For example, topic pressure, from this topic I can explain about blood pressure in Biology. How it works when a force hit surface area. I am also help student in understanding and remember certain concept just by using formula. Most of the time, I used exam question to teach answering techniques at early stage of the sessions to give confident for a student to answer Physics questions.
