I obtained my PhD degree in 2017 upon completion of my thesis in the field of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering. I also holds a Bachelor's Degree with First-Class Honours in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering. Presently, I have been working as a Mechanical Engineering Lecturer at a prestigious University for over six years, specialising in Environmental Engineering, Renewable Energy and Turbo Machinery. My research has resulted in the publication of over 20 papers, including journal articles, book chapters, and conference proceedings, covering a broad range of topics such as water treatment, wave energy, waste management, manufacturing engineering, operation management, and mechanical design. Furthermore, I am a Chartered Engineer of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, U.K., and hold other professional affiliations such as a Professional Member of the Institute of Materials, Malaysia, Professional Technologist from the Malaysia Board of Technologists, and Fellow of Higher Education Academy, UK.

As a mechanical engineering lecturer with experience in various research areas, I have a wealth of knowledge and expertise to share with my students. I begin by assessing my students' current level of understanding and tailoring my approach accordingly. I strive to create a supportive and welcoming environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas. In addition, I encourage students to take an active role in their learning, promoting critical thinking and problem-solving skills. My tutoring style is engaging, incorporating a variety of instructional methods to keep students interested and motivated. For example, I use real-world examples and hands-on activities to help students see how course concepts apply in the real world. I might also incorporate technology, such as simulations or online learning tools, to enhance the learning experience. My tutoring style is grounded in a commitment to helping students reach their full potential, both academically and personally. My focus on creating a supportive, engaging, and challenging learning environment helps students not only achieve their academic goals but also develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in their future careers.
