I've been home tutor for about 3 years. I can teach Add Maths for SPM students. I prefer to teach in the way that student could easily understand before they make exercise.

I usually start my teaching by asking student first how they have gone through with the subject, either they are very weak or average weak on the subject. Then I will decide by myself how to teach the student because different students got different level of understanding.
