Retired Accounting/Manager. Have been tutoring students in Accounting for SPM, STPM, A-Levels and O-Level IGCSE examinations for more then 10 years. I do in person classes at my home or online classes. Nowadays mainly online through Google meet and Jamboard. As this is a 1 to 1 class there really is no difference with an in person class. I have thought students with no prior Accounting experience (as extra elective) exclusively online and they have managed to score A* and A+ in their respective examination s.

For SPM Perakaunan there is a total of 16 chapters (9 at Form 4 and 7 at Form 5). If they are starting in Form 4 they only need 2 hours a week tutoring. If they are starting in Form 5 you would need 3 1/2 hours tutoring a week. In Accounting you need to have a strong foundation so you need to start with the double entry once mastered then you to the Accounting cycle. For O-Level Accounting there are 22 chapters again need to start from the basic double entry then proceed to the Accounting cycle. For STPM , A-Level Accounting and Diploma this depends whether the student has any basics. If not then need to start with basics as most of these assume students have a background in Accounting.
