Summary

Former teacher from Mutiara International Grammar School (established since 1997). My students consist of Primary and Secondary school going children and adults. Teaching English, Add Maths, Maths, Bahasa and Programming/Coding to Primary and Secondary school kids. Adults are foreigners who are keen to learn English. Completed my Degree in UK. I also have a Master's degree from University of Strathclyde and TOEFL. Some of my students scored 6 in English and Maths Checkpoint, and won Awards for Most Improved Student, Best Reader and Best Speller.

Tutoring Methods / Style

It is recommended each subject is taught for at least two hours on a weekly basis. When kids do not have textbooks or reference books, usually, I follow the Singapore syllabus because it is well known worldwide for their proven teaching methodology in producing high achievers in English, Mathematics and Science. I am a firm believer in assignments and homework. Lots of practise make perfect. Note: Books are to be paid for by parents. Hourly fee is dependant on the age and number of students.

Tutoring Milestones

My Secondary student was failing his Add Maths. After three months, he passed his exam. Six months later, he scored 79%. His mother asked me to start teaching his younger brother.
My Primary student always scored a B in his Maths exam. After I tutored him privately, he scored an A in every exam. His mother asked me to start tutoring his younger brother and recommended me to her friend.
