Hey there, I am currently tutoring three students specifically on the subject Maths and English. The reason I got into tutoring is because I am aspired to spread my knowledge and help those students in need to achieve excellent Academic results. As a straight As SPM student myself too, I am fully aware of the challenges that most students have to go through just to achieve good Academic results. As a matter of fact, it takes one student to fully understand another student’s problems and their whereabouts. As a tutor myself, I am constantly dealing with young students, hence a positive attitude along with patience is needed for a conducive environment for students to learn well and effectively. I do not give stress to my students nor do I punish them for making mistakes. Instead, I will assure them to remember their mistakes and learn from it, while teaching them the correct method.

I always start my tutoring lessons by firstly have a quick small chat with my students to ease their minds and tense themselves before starting the tuition, because a relaxed mind is more conducive to learning compared to a tensed stressed mind. In the small chat, I will ask how their day was and ask if theres any Academic problems that they are facing and that I should know of. I’ll then immediately begin the lessons without wasting any more precious time by providing them with work from workbooks or start a new chapter based on the schedule. Every once when a chapter is done, I will provide them with a small test to scan their weaknesses in the specific subject which i will teach them again for them improve the weaknesses. At the end of the class, i will provide them with an adequate amount of homework ( not too much so that they can balance their time between school homework and tuition homework) so that we can discuss it the first thing during next lesson
